Special thanks to Frau Renate who was so warm to us all!

The Hotel is very cute and clean, The village is very cute as well. Getting to Bad Bertrich is a little difficult if you don't pay close attention to road signs and directions. The street that the Hotel is on is very tiny. Being from America, I am used to wider streets. With that said, it was a fantastic experience and would totally visit again if I return to this part of Germany.

Eine Woche habe ich mir zum Entspannen vorgenommen, und das hat wunderbar geklappt, da das Haus eine seht gepflegte Anlage für Wellness und viele Anwendungen anbietet. Man kann jederzeit selber bestimmen welche Anwendung(en) man gerne haben möchte. Aquagymnastik war sogar im Preis inbegriffen! Man kann bei schlechtem Wetter alles, vor allem das Restaurant, das keine Wünsche offen lässt, geniessen, ohne einen Schritt vor die Tür zu machen.

Great if only stay even for one night during a business trip. I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Definitely the most expensive dish of pasta I ever had. There was no other choise at 9pm in Bad Bertrich is almost night... Very quiet town with no other interest than the thermal baths and relex for retired people. Very nice indeed. Staff was very nice both at the restaurant and reception (Sartika), striving to welcome and please guests, which is not something you give for granted. A swimming pool and a quite decent fitness room are available as well. Very nice landscape in the surrounding area with plenty of paths to walk dinner off before it gets dark.

Meine beste Freundin und ich wollten einfach mal 2 Tage entspannen. Das Hotel ist für ein 5*-Haus o.k., das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen... Mit einem großen Koffer und einer Person ist der Fahrstuhl etwas zu klein. Das passt auch zu Bad Bertrich: der Ort besteht nur aus Hotels, Restaurants und Kosmetiksalons auf einer Fläche von 8qkm . Das hat den charmanten Vorteil, dass es dort sehr ruhig ist. Das trifft auch auf das Hotel zu. Die Zimmer sind gut isoliert. Im Gegensatz zum Wellnessbereich. Der Ist zwar schön und überraschend vielfältig für ein Hotel, aber es gibt keinen richtigen Ruheraum. Der kleine Raum mit 6 Liegen hat keine Tür und dient als Durchgangszimmer, um in den Außenbereich zu gelangen. Ruhe bekommt man hier nicht. Das Frühstück war super, die Servicedame taff und sehr nett. Alles in allem: ein schöner Aufenthalt, für das Geld (Sparpreis) o.k., sonst hätte ich mich geärgert.

The view from the balcony was of the castle, it was a lovely bike ride to the town , or we could just drive a couple of minutes and park. Eva the owner was wonderful, helpful and cheerful and spoke fluent English. Well absolutely go back. The rooms were as described and plenty of space.

The description of the apt and view was as described and it’s perfect for our small family. Everything you need in a place and very comfortable stay for us. The host was very accommodating, the sweetest. We will definitely rebook if we come back to the area.

Charming old hotel at a perfect location, with several good restaurants close by. Very comfortable beds, great coffee and breakfast. The parking was close; all staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Close to everything, river Moselle, restaurants, attractions were all walking distance. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was grand, with choices of hot and cold options, delicious fresh breads, rolls, croissants, etc. and you could sit on the beautiful terrasse outdoor.

The check-in was easy. The river view room was amazing! Good breakfast. Great drinks. Overall the perfect spot on the river!

Breakfast was nice, friendly staff, very helpful. The view from the front room is nice, of course, as the river Mosel is beautiful. though a nice hotel, lots of wood (like in German hotels) and gives a bit of a dated impression. But for Cochem, yes, I can recommend this hotel.

This is my second time booking here. Specifically because they were so amazing the first time. The personal touch the owners give when youre staying there is amazing. My mom joined last minute, which wasnt a problem at all. At the dinner reservation they put down a little sign with mother and daughter and our last name. They were always happy and joyful and always had time for a little personal chat. It's lovely to see that it's a real family owned business. Ow and the food was amazing! Im a picky eater, however everything was really tasteful.

We enjoyed our stay in a recently renovated room, with a gorgeous view. Breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice. We also enjoyed the wellness, it was very clean, spacious and relaxing.

Check-in on arrival was very friendly and well-prepared. Breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant served great food for diner. Location of the hotel is great - overlooking the river on the one side and vineyards on the other.

Nice location just next to the river. The hotel is well decorated and the restaurant was fantastic. The room was a bit old and the sofa bed was not that comfortable but clean and spacious.

Friendly & professional staff, gorgeous location, spacious & modern room, great wine selection & fabulous food.

The hotel is very good . The rooms are clean and adequate, but no tea or coffee making facility . The food was good , the breakfast was excellent . It takes about 1 hour to walk into Cochem along the River Mosel .

The room was big and cozy with great view from the river. The service from the restaurant was very good.

This place is amazing! Steps away from the river and right outside the town of Cochem. It was definitely a prime location. I felt like I was staying at a 5 star resort. The hotel was so beautiful and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed in Ernst with our motorhome and ate in Pullmans twice. The food is excellent and the restaurant and staff dog friendly. Germany has suffered from the COVID aftereffects and lost many restaurants and moved towards too much fast food but Pullmans still deliver excellent German cuisine.

Bathroom had great lighting and large shower with more than enough hot water. We had a view to the rear of the hotel where the sunset was stunning! The restaurant on site is popular in the area, weekends may need a reservation to be safe. Locally brewed Bitburger on tap! A large spread of breakfast in the morning along with a bakery next door. A small grocery store is just up the street, Edeka along with a small Getränkemarkt/ drinks market down the street behind it. All within short walking distance if needed.

Great, peaceful village. Close to a nice walking path and lake. Accomodation was a good size (we had a one bed apartment). Host was very friendly and welcoming and everything was very well organised. I stayed with my son as we were visiting the Rock Am Ring festival. It was 25 minutes drive to the Nürburgring and a very pleasant alternative to camping at the festival. Would definitely visit again for a non-festival related trip.

The owners are very friendly, breakfast was good and the location is ideal to explore the surroundings.

This hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The room was spacious good bed. Bathroom was also big. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Maning sure was everything ok with us. The breakfast is great. The kitchen chef even come to us to ask of we would like to have some omelet or cooked eggs or pancake. There is lot of restaurant nearby.

Our stay was very pleasant, the rooms are well maintained and clean. The personnel helpful, the breakfast delicious.

Alte Mühle in Bad Bertrich is an excellent hotel that truly exceeded my expectations. The staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay, ensuring every need was met. The breakfast was a delicious spread of fresh and mouthwatering options.

Everything was perfect, we spent a night there with family. Amazing breakfast and dinner. We will return.
