May have to walk through the sand for part of it, so may not be for everyone but absolutely stunning location, paradise for sea lovers! Choice of beach bars and restaurants along the beach.

The grounds of the property are amazing and there are so many areas to hang out for the day. The room was spacious, better service around the pool may be good, as when we went up to the bar there was a big line and only 1 bar attendant. Breakfast was thorough but a lot of pastries

Appreciated very helpful front desk staff especially when we extended our stay. Dining room staff also welcoming at breakfast. Beds were comfortable and the thermal pool relaxing. Close to public buses so it was easy to get around the island.

Great room nice and comfy bed and great view from the very big balcony. The service in the hotel was super both at the front desk in the restaurants and the maid service.

I would say everything! It’s on perfect location just 5 minutes walking distance to the center, with beautiful sea view, excellent SPA zone and very clean and spacious rooms! They offer a free breakfast and it was delicious with many varieties of domestic traditional pastries.

The room was very comfortable, very comfy bed. Great service at the bar and at breakfast, spectacular sunset view from the balcony.

The room had an amazing view! The on-property spa was outstanding (several hot tubs/whirlpools and sitting areas), very kind staff, breakfast was great, and it was a short walk to the town center where there were several restaurants to choose from. It also had parking which was helpful.

Gorgeous pools, always lots of loungers available and a lovely poolside bar that did a fabulous Aperol Spritz! Rooms were spotlessly clean. Stunning views (see photo from our balcony.) Very helpful reception staff who booked a fabulous wine tasting for us and provided a shuttle there and back.

Great relaxing stay with a view. The thermal spas were great. Restaurant was very good we ate dinner there one night. Locate walking distance to Negombo Spa and Botanical garden. The town is quaint and cute. Highly Recommend.

Breakfast was amazing, Enzo was delightful and helpful, quiet, serene, lots of places to sit and so not just around the pool. Room was quiet, huge and Staff so friendly and super helpful when BA Cancelled my flight.

The hotel is immaculate, rooms were very comfortable and spacious and staff were very helpful and friendly. We were B&B and the breakfast was fab! We did stay for dinner one night but, although it was lovely, as it was too expensive we didn’t stay again!

Beautiful hotel with incredible views of Ischia. Very nice staff and cute rooms. Great shower! Eco-friendly with solar energy and a focus on saving energy. Hotel is at the top of a big hill but they have a shuttle that goes up and down to the port. Very peaceful and quiet property.

We stayed days and I can’t say enough about what an amazing time we had. The hotel staff was amazing and the spa treatment I had was wonderful. The free shuttle to and from town was a huge plus. Pool was very relaxing and our room was very clean and comfortable.

Clean room, great breakfast and wonderful staff.. Unfortunately air conditioning isn't turned on until mid June and we visited early June. The weather was already really hot and rooms were hot at night. Swimming pools are both thermal pools.

Food and drinks were wonderful, accomodations were outstanding, all clean and fresh

I liked that it was quiet and the staff was hospitable. The hotel is quite old-fashioned and brought me nostalgia to holidays as a kid. It had a great, clean pool area with snack bar where you can order lunch and a spa. A lot of elderly people seem to come here to relax. Breakfast was great!

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Hotel San Valentino Terme. We loved the pool and spa. The staff were super helpful and always friendly! The bar area was a lovely place to hang out in the evening with great cocktails. Our room was always cleaned really well.

The hotel staff were exceptional & helped me with all queries. Hotel is a 10/15 min walk from the beach & town centre. Perfect for evening stroll. Small supermarket across the road from the hotel that sells all basic needs. Hotel provided gluten free biscuits for my breakfast :)

Staff is simply amazing, I felt at home. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Good food, good vibe and direct access to the seaside (the beach is very small but there is a spacious platform where you can sunbathe etc).

This property was absolutely gorgeous with the friendliest staff. They made our stay very comfortable and we loved waking up to our ocean view every morning. The drinks also down by the beach were delicious and we loved that there were floats in the water to sit on and enjoy. We loved our stay!

From there, turn right & follow the wooden path to the hotel. Or, contact the hotel once arriving at the bus stop & someone will meet you there & help with your luggage & walk the path with you. Great breakfast with lattes & cappuccinos, as well as juice, water & milk. Very helpful staff who kindly stored my luggage & purse on my last day so I could sit in a beach chair. I felt very safe there. My only issues were that I was locked out one night when I returned after 11pm. After 5-10 mins of loud knocking & ringing the hotel on my mobile, I was let in. And - I left my patio doors open & was surprised by the number of biting bugs keeping me up at night! I've been to Italy many times & have never had an issue with mosquitoes. This is a location issue though & not isolated to the hotel. But be mindful of leaving the patio doors open, in spite of the beautiful breeze! There are not a lot of restaurants in the walking area but they all offered tasty meals. There are water taxis to Sant'angelo for 4 euro & there are more restaurants & cafes there & it is a bit more lively, but things slow down fairly early... perfect for those early morning beach walks. There are beach chairs right in front of the hotel & the water is beautiful for swimming.

We stayed for 5 nights at the apartments that are across the street from the hotel and it was excellent! Small quiet oasis with about 6 apartments and private pool. Very spacious, super clean, big kitchen and bathroom, cleaning lady was servicing daily. We only walked to the main hotel for breakfast in the morning and quick swim at their pristine clean pool. We spent all day everyday at Posseidon Baths which the apartments are actually very ideal walking distance location since you don't have to cross the super busy road which hotel is at. From apartments you go simply down the hill on paved sidewalk to Citara bay , beaches and Posseidon, about 10-15 min walk. Beautiful view of Citara bay just outside of the apartments. If you walk little bit downhill from the apartments there is a cute caravan bar with the best sunset views and they make little sushi bites and delicious sptitz. We loved the apartments and it was a great place for our family with 2 kids and grandparents. Bus is very close and Forio is about 10 min by bus. I think it's nice to go there for dinner one night. Hotel also offers shuttle to Forio and beach zone at Citara bay / Posseidon. Not to forget the stunning views of Mt Epompeo from the apartments and sweet black cat friend that comes visit. We would come back!!

The hotel was really calm, to relax it’s perfect! There is an amazing view from the terrace. The staff is adorable. We had a small dog with us and they were super chill about it, we could take him with us everywhere in the hotel. The breakfast there is also great, a lots of things were handmade! 😋

The location is the key point of Solcalante. It's located near a Belvedere and we could enjoy beautiful views and sunset. The room was nice and having the terrace available was very crucial too. The breakfast and swimming pool area were amazing and the staff all very friendly and available.

Wonderful hotel and spa, would recommend, not too far from the harbour town easily walkable with a free shuttle bus if you want it. On site restaurant is average, better food in the town with lots to choose from. Rooms were spacious and well maintained.

We stayed 6 nights. The resort is very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff is very cordial. We had cocktails in the bar every night and David was wonderful. He even helped plan our friend’s birthday party. Beneditto was great too. Excellent service by all the employees we encountered.

Great location, close to Sant’Angelo. The “navetta” takes you to the beach for free. The pools are very good. The breakfast is vast and local. Staff is kind and the rooms are very clean. We had a cat and they had no problem with it! Thanks!

We loved the large thermal pool and our view of the ocean! The room patios are a good size, breakfast was generous and we appreciated the shuttle service. The staff was very kind as our ferry changed plans on us and they were very helpful to get us to where we needed to be. Thank you!

The staff were fantastic and very helpful and accommodating. They helped me surprise my friend for her birthday with bubbles and fresh fruit on arrival as well as a birthday cake at breakfast and even played ‘happy birthday’ over the speaker in the dining room. The staff helped us book a scooter through them too. Our room had the sea view and it was beautiful sitting out on the balcony for sunset. They also recommended a restaurant and helped us make a booking. :-)

Good location of the hotel. Nearby bus stop, very easy to get to Faro, buses run until late at night. Not far from the Poseidon Gardens and Cesara Beach. There are navetas that take you to and from the beach. The staff is polite. I recommend massage sessions, I enjoyed it very much. The room had a gorgeous view of the sea, from the balcony you could watch the sunset. Good breakfasts.

Rosario is a very kind host. He took care of us. The property is very well maintained. The thermal pool and jacuzzi are clean. The property has very nice and well maintained gardens. The sunset from the terrace near the pool is amazing.

Rosario and his team could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to us. We were the first guests of the season, and everything was perfect. The room was spacious for a family, breakfast was great, and we would highly recommend a stay here.

Rosario greeted us when we arrived with the most delicious pineapple juice and told us all about the sites of Ischia. Gorgeous property with heated pool and perfect breakfast. Rosario and his staff were exceptional.

The pool and wider facilities are excellent. The quality of the breakfast each morning is really high, with fresh omelettes, fruit, pastries, juices and italian coffee.

It’s Max & his lovely parents that make this place what it is.. Nothing is too much trouble at all. 15 mins walk from the beach & town, bus stop 5 min walk. Food is delicious and best value you will find anywhere on the island. Mamma Christina’s tiramisu is just the best!

The villa is lovely. The hosts are incredible and very personable and friendly. The home cooked dinner was a highlight of our trip. With ingredients freshly picked form their garden all the way from the grapes for the wine to the little tomatoes.

Gardens are beautiful with lots of places to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. Loved opening my doors to the Mediterranean each morning. Mini-mart, gelato, bus stop, and great restaurant right next to the property. Alessandra our host helpful with arrangements, and Tornike was great onsite looking after the pool and helping us as needed 😊. We were a group of friends from Australia and UK and it was a perfect place for a reunion!

Beautiful property on a hillside with stunning views down to the beach. The views and sunsets are out of this world. Well equipped, with a good-sized thermal pool and a barbecue, generous seating and tables everywhere, lots of dishes, large fridge. Lovely flowers and trees in the large garden. The house is particularly suited to be shared by several parties - we were ten people, two families plus a grandmother - as each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the pairs of bedrooms are far enough apart for privacy. There are adequate facilities (mini market, cafés, bus stop) nearby, and more shops can be reached by a short bus trip. The nice beach below - Citara Beach, which has some shops and restaurants - can be reached via a pretty footpath down the hill in about 10 minutes. The Poseidon Thermal Gardens are just behind the beach. Care does have to be taken with small children as there are several unprotected areas, but our children - five aged between one and five - managed well with repeated warnings (the tiny tots have to be watched constantly anyway). People with severe mobility issues might struggle with the short path up the hill to the street, but this is no problem for any reasonably fit person. The hostess reacted very quickly to one problem we had and got it solved within a few hours, and on a Sunday, much appreciated. We all - adults and children alike - thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return any time.

Very private with lots of space and multiple outdoor areas for sitting/dining. Private pool and surrounding area/garden was lovely.

It was a beautiful property. It was nice to get away from the crowds and just relax by the beach. The rooms were clean and the staff were so welcoming. They treated everyone like family! It was nice to eat at the restaurant every night and not worry about having to find a place to eat.

Everything. 10 rooms only at the hotel. From start to finish we were looked after with such personal service. The view and location is just breathtaking. Easy wander to the town with great food and bus available. Gorgeous food at the hotel. Bedroom spacious, clean and comfy.

The springs/pools and location are amazing, and the room was spacious and very clean! The staff were so kind throughout and treated us like family, we will definitely be going back!

We visited in July 2025. The location is excellent. You’re right on the main strip with shops, bars, restaurants all within walking distance - right outside the door. This doesn’t mean it is loud. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The receptionist was very helpful. She even gave us tips on some hidden gems on the island to visit. The room had a large balcony overlooking the street. Air conditioning was excellent. The room was clean and well presented.

Beautiful location. Easy check in. I asked could we move to a lower floor as my husband has problem climbing stairs and it was changed so that was great. Staff lovely too.
