Everything! So authentique, I felt in love with the decoration, location was 10/10 my room was with mountain view second floor I didn’t have appetit to get out of my room, spacious clean and the view from the balcony was amazing, the staff were super welcoming and helpful.

Very clean and quiet hotel. The staff is very kind and tries to help with any questions. Very good and quiet restaurant. Amazing and clean pool and sauna complex. Large and spacious underground parking.

The hotel is very well situated and walkable to any points of interest. It is exceptionally well maintained and immaculate, and the staff are most helpful. The breakfast is fabulous with a staff that is very attentive. Dinner was fantastic! The spa is very good.

Where to start! It was beautiful, central, with amazing breakfast and amenities. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was just excellent specially with the omelette station. The restaurant on the premises was really good too.

Location was perfect for walking everywhere in downtown Garmisch. I didn't try the breakfast because I had a small kitchenette which was perfect for making breakfast and some easy dinners as well. Plenty of room to relax and a fantastic balcony with a beautiful view of the Kramer and the Alpspitze.

From the greeting on entry to departure perfect. We moved from one bad hotel to this perfect one. Awesome mountain views, room is very clean and a good size. Very close to the cogg train that goes to zugspiz (4 min) Breakfast was delicious, but the staff make this a great stay.

Perfect 3 night stay, room was very large, balcony was great, towel dryer in the shower for drying hand wash clothes, best scrambled eggs I have had in a long time, specialty coffee was included with the breakfast buffet. To top it off a gift of chocolate when we checked out.

Made to feel so welcome, staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and had a lovely balcony and view, great secure parking for motorbike. Easy walking distance to main centre. Felt like home away from home. Breakfast was superb.

Stayed with family at this hotel in April 2025. We had a great mountain view from our "maxi" room. The room was very spacious and clean, Staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a large selection and was very tasteful. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and cosy room. Free water, coffee, hot chocolate, juice and tea all day with a great variety and exceptional quality and taste. Breakfast with a satisfying variety and exceptional quality. Kind personnel.

We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing every day.

The hotel had good parking, friendly staff, a nice breakfast, and the location was convenient. The lake restaurant was a great spot for dinner. Toiletries provided, they also provide slippers/towels/robes for the pool. Very comfortable beds.

The hotel was in a great location at edge of town up in the hillside on a little swimming lake. Amenities were perfect. Indoor pool spa , bikes. The breakfast buffet was superb and wonderful friendly staff. Very clean . Rooms were updated and walk in showers.

Really like this apartment hotel. All was good from online check in to online check out. Super clean super quit super comfortable. They offer coffee machine (beans to coffee). Staff was amazing. I only talk to one person who was in reception and he was nice.

Clean and fresh. Staff were very helpful and welcoming especially Nicole and Mandy. Comfortable for a family and Great location.

The whole apartment is really comfy with high-end appliances and super clean. The hosts in the lobby are really nice and helpful. Thankfully, we had the room (the superior one, I believe) in the corner of the building with a great view of the mountain range, and there were two big balconies.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The spa facilities are amazing! It’s very close to anything else in Garmisch. Breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious and well balanced.

Breakfast & evening buffets were great, fantastic location - just a few minutes walking distance to Garmisch center, pool & spa areas were wonderful and the room was modern, clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We love everything, location near the train station, grocery across the street, excellent breakfast, very willing and helpful front people, and very clean room and so comfortable bed.

Everything is great: design of lounges zones, level of comfort, kids and family friendly hotel, great spa zone (really great), big pool, spa zone for kids, outside pool with heating- nice place to relax after ski day. Amazing breakfast! We liked everything and we will be back !

This is a beautiful hotel and it’s well worth getting the south facing rooms with a view of the Zugspitz - the views are spectacular. The meals were lovely and breakfast on the terrace was especially memorable.

The woman at reception was extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. The room was nice and had a great view. Breakfast was very good. The location was close to the city center and it was easy to get to anywhere you wanted to go. The bar was very convenient and staff was friendly

Great hotel, with a unique spirit in a historical building. The breakfast was exceptional, and we were lucky to be there for Christmas and got the last table for the Christmas eve dinner. The room and facilities are clinically clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Lovely hotel with a huge balcony and amazing views right in the middle of town. Excellent on-site parking area at only 5 Euros per day is a great bonus. We had breakfast included, which was good value. Perfect location for finding options for dinner and doing a little shopping.

Very complete hotel. There are pool and sauna. Breakfast delicious. Staff very nice. Good location, 10 minutes on foot to the Grainau station, very convenient to go to Eibsee and Zugspitze! Grainau city is so nice and the view is amazing!

I arrived before the room was ready but the stuff let me take a shower and leave my luggage there. You get a free travel card for the train up to the lake and also the stuff told me everything there is to visit. The room was perfect, spacious enough for one person. The breakfast was delicious.

Every part of my stay at Hotel Alpin was excellent! Gerhard and Gabi are fantastic host and owners. My room was clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The views from my balcony were spectacular and the breakfast was delicious. I’ll stay here again given the chance!! Can’t recommend it enough!

This is old fashioned hospitality The owner is a fantastic woman that tries very hard to make your stay great. Its a very cosy place and the breakfast is really good. The beds are comfortable and there are a number of very good restaurants in walking distance.

The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. There were so many options to put in my yogurts. Many lunch meats to choose from. The cheeses were so good and fresh bread and rolls. The atmosphere was so nice that we hated to get up from breakfast.

Perfect place for hotel. Beautiful nature and waterfall. The staff was very friendly . The room was lovely . Dinner was delicious and breakfast was so many choices.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner at the restaurant was excellent! We enjoyed the location. If we stay next time, we will look into staying at the castle or one of their lodges. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, and is clean and modern inside, The family and staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The food is beautiful, with a wide choice at breakfast and high quality, locally sourced, dinners. As a coeliac, I need to eat gluten free food with no cross contamination, and I was brilliantly catered for all week, with equally well presented and cooked meals as my gluten-eating husband. We had a wonderful week in this lovely hotel.

Everything!! It's the perfect place for couples and families.. First of all, the view was spectacular! The room was super clean, breakfast and dinner were amazing. The staff was kind and willing to help with every request! We enjoyed our stay here and definitely will recommend and hopefully be back in the future!

Everything was amazing! Rooms are very clean. They change towels everyday and tide up your room. The food was exceptional! You could choose from different kinds of meniu: normal, vegetarian or kids menu. The host and the employees treated you like an old friend. You have a spectacular view, a lot of hike routes, and many animals to enjoy on the farm.

The receptionist was very helpful and nice. The pool area was clean and pleasant. The rooms were nice and big. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Getting to Eibsee was quite easy, either with a bus, cycling or even walking (If you are okay with walking around 2 hours if not more)

One of the best places , I have stayed in a long time . Breakfast was exceptional. We took a room with the mountain view and it was great. We did not use the pool this time due to activities we had planned .

The Hotel is on the edge of the town, there is off road parking available and this seems ample, albeit that it is not exclusive to the hotel, however it is free. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant the breakfast was plentiful and good and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. There is a lift from ground floor level {so there is no need to your luggage up what appear to be the entrance stairs, go around these to the ground floor entrance). There are beautiful mountain and rural views from the balconies.

Of The staff were fantastic! Judith checked us in and she was very helpful. Alex was our waiter at dinner and he took great care of us. As did the rest of the staff in the dining room Katja, the owner, stopped by to check on us and was very welcoming. Wr ate looking forward to visiting again in the future when we have more time to take advantage of the massage at the spa and the sauna. It was great having access to convenient parking as well.

I had room with a balcony which was a bonus. Their breakfast was delicious! Rooms were clean. I was very happy staying there. It was very convenient to the train and bud station and within walking distance to all the historical areas I wanted to see. I didn't need a taxi at all! Bonus!

The property gives a very vintage, luxurious feel. Although a bit dated, the property had character and a great view of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast was included, and the area where it was offered was peaceful and quiet.

Very clean, excellent location, great garten and amenities for children, very nice hosts.

We stayed here for three nights. Our apartment, number 7, was located on the first floor and was impeccably clean, modern, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a large dining table, the bedroom featured a comfortable bed, and the bathroom included a shower and a towel heater. There was also a delightful living room, although we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the breathtaking view on our balcony. The panorama was so stunning that we felt grateful to capture it at any time of the day. We had the privilege of witnessing a sunrise one morning and a mesmerizing evening storm with a rainbow on another. We even had the chance to hear deer in the distance. At night, we gazed at the stars. The balcony quickly became our favorite spot in this charming apartment. Our Hosts were warm and lovely people who spoke perfect English, making us feel exceptionally welcome. They recommended a visit to Linderhof Castle, which turned out to be an amazing experience. The entire complex was conveniently located within a short drive of many attractions. We recommend staying in this place to anyone who wishes to feel at home and explore this enchanting area.

We have a pleasant stay at this lovely property, really thanks to the owner as they helped us a lot with our stay. Their location is really great for ski at Ehrwald Alm, just 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. Their property also provides a room to keep your ski equipment, many thanks to the owner again🤍

The hotel was quaint but charming. Check in was quick, and receptionist was very friendly. The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and shops. Our room was a large king but the bed was low on the floor unlike more modern style beds. But the mattress was comfortable enough.

Beautiful modern room, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Included plenty of storage space, fridge and balcony. Huge bathroom and the rooms were warm.

The stay was good. Room was spacious and lately renovated. The hotel room and bathroom was very clean.

Breakfast was fine and our dinner was excellent, with a mixed grill plate that brought value for money. Lots of space to park your car.

Excellent location in the center of Garmisch! Stayed in one of the apartments. Comfortable, spacious with views of the mountains! Great breakfast buffet! Good value for the money

The hotel is in the centre of Garmisch, very close to stores and restaurants. I had a suite with separate bedroom and sitting room and a modern very large bathroom. Breakfast was included and it had plenty of food. It was most enjoyable.

Great location next to stops for city and Zugspitz bus. View is awesome. Shower is a bit small but still was very happy with our stay. Also had dinner at the restaurant which was very good.

A great location. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We had pizza at the restaurant for lunch and was very good. We would return to this hotel.
